DM Vans was founded by vanlifers and a significant portion of the team still lives in their builds full-time. That hands-on experience shapes every design decision.

Rather than adding features to justify a higher price, the team focuses on systems that hold up in real conditions, from frozen-weather camping to extended off-grid travel. Dave, the founder, has lived in a van for over ten years. ### The Models

Three models cover a range of use cases, all sharing the same build quality and core systems:

• LV3 (17.8 ft, 353 cu ft): Fits in standard parking spots and suits solo travelers or couples on weekend trips and trail-access adventures
• LV5 (19.6 ft, 420 cu ft): Offers three bed layout options and is well suited to remote workers and couples spending weeks on the road
• LV7 (22.2 ft, 463 cu ft): The largest model, Backcountry-only, with 12V A/C included as standard and extended off-grid capability for seasonal or full-time living

All models are available in Trailhead or Backcountry trim. Backcountry upgrades the chassis to the SLT, doubles the battery capacity to 600Ah, adds 400W of solar, and includes advanced safety tech such as adaptive cruise, blind spot detection, and a 360-degree surround view camera. ### Pricing and Process

Every price listed includes the 2026 RAM ProMaster chassis and the complete build. There is no separate "build cost" that excludes the van.

A $2,500 deposit reserves a build slot, and current lead times run approximately 11 to 12 weeks from deposit. Buyers can pick up in Rifle or arrange delivery.

RVIA certification makes each van eligible for up to 20-year RV financing and straightforward RV insurance.
