The 2021 Winnebago Solis 59PX in Asheville, North Carolina is a 21-foot, four-person camper van featuring solar power, a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor showers, a cassette toilet, hot water, and both a queen Murphy bed and a pop-top loft, all positioned minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

About This Van

The 2021 Winnebago Solis 59PX is a 21-foot camper van built on a Ram chassis, sleeping and seating four people with ease. Based in East Asheville, it puts you within 15 minutes of downtown Asheville and Black Mountain, 45 to 60 minutes from Brevard and the waterfall-rich forests of the region, and roughly 90 minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Whether you are chasing summits, rivers, or scenic drives through the Blue Ridge, this rig is a capable and comfortable home base.

The Solis 59PX (sometimes called Sunseeker by its owners) features a queen-size Murphy bed and a full-size pop-top loft bed, comfortably accommodating four guests. Both beds are made up with pillows, 100% cotton sheets, quilts, and extra blankets for cooler mountain nights.

Large quick-dry towels are also provided, all laundered in non-toxic detergent. The front seats swivel to face inward, creating a social seating arrangement around the dining table, perfect for meals, games, or sheltering from an afternoon storm.

The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking on the road. A propane two-burner stove, a refrigerator, and a kitchen sink give you everything needed to prepare meals from scratch. Kitchen supplies are stocked in the cabinet above, so you can hit the road without a grocery run for basics.

The 2021 Winnebago Solis 59PX includes both an indoor shower and an outdoor shower, along with a dedicated spray-off area at the sliding door for rinsing muddy boots and gear after a trail day. Hot water is available, and a cassette toilet rounds out the full bathroom setup.

Solar power keeps the van self-sufficient during dry camping, while a built-in generator provides additional power when needed. Electric hookup and water hookup capability make campsite connections seamless.

A propane heater keeps the interior warm on chilly Appalachian nights, and an air conditioning unit runs on generator power or via electric hookup at a campsite, keeping things cool during warmer months.

The 59PX trim adds an extra two feet of rear storage compared to the standard model, with purpose-built space to clip in and hang life jackets, helmets, climbing gear, and other adventure equipment. Additional storage is found in overhead cabinets, lower cabinets, and under-floor compartments throughout the van.

A bike rack is available as an add-on for cyclists. The van's compact 21-foot length fits in most standard parking spots, and a backup camera makes maneuvering simple.

The 2021 Winnebago Solis 59PX is perfectly positioned for adventure across western North Carolina and beyond. Gorges State Park, Black Mountain, Mills River, and countless waterfalls are all within an hour.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is roughly 90 minutes away, and New River Gorge National Park is approximately four hours out, making this an ideal camper van for multi-destination road trips through some of the Southeast's most spectacular landscapes.
