The 2020 Storyteller Overland Class B in Seattle, Washington is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based camper van powered entirely by a lithium solar system with no propane or generator, sleeping three and seating four with a full kitchen, air conditioning, outdoor shower, and 4x4 capability for Pacific Northwest adventures.
About This Van
Built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, this 2020 Storyteller Overland Class B (sometimes called the Storyteller Classic) is a polished, adventure-ready camper van based just 10 miles from SeaTac Airport near Westcrest Park. Seating four and sleeping three, it pairs high-end components with an impressively clean, intuitive layout that makes it a genuine pleasure to drive and live in.
Whether you're chasing remote Pacific Northwest trails or cruising between coastal towns, this rig is ready.
The van runs on a Volta lithium power system featuring two 125-amp-hour lithium-ion batteries totaling 320 amp-hours of capacity, two roof-mounted solar panels, and a 2,000-watt inverter. The all-electric setup means no propane and no generator noise.
It powers the air conditioning, heating, induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and all your personal devices simultaneously, making extended boondocking genuinely comfortable.
The primary bed measures 56 by 78 inches, just under queen size, and a lounge-area conversion creates a second sleeping surface at 72 by 34 inches, accommodating a third guest. Linens, pillows, and blankets are provided for all three sleepers.
A dining table and ceiling fan round out the interior living space, and semi-permanent blackout window covers, side-door netting, and a full set of window covers keep the cabin dark, breezy, and private.
The full kitchen includes a 3.0 cubic-foot 12V refrigerator and freezer accessible from both inside and outside the van, a kitchen sink and faucet fed by a 21-gallon fresh water tank, a portable induction cooktop, and a microwave. An exterior dining table positioned under the lighted awning creates a natural outdoor cooking and dining area.
The van comes stocked with a French press, electric kettle, mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, wine glasses, a wine opener, dish soap, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and assorted teas and hot cocoa.
An outdoor shower with on-demand hot water and a privacy tent lets you rinse off after a day on the water or trail without sacrificing comfort. A cassette toilet is also included and empties into any standard toilet, eliminating the need for RV dump stations. Camp chairs, an outdoor table, and a flashlight are packed and ready for evenings outside.
Dedicated air conditioning and a heater keep the interior comfortable across all four Pacific Northwest seasons. A ceiling fan adds additional airflow on mild days.
A backup camera makes maneuvering this full-size Sprinter straightforward, and 4x4 capability paired with off-road tires means the van can handle unpaved routes with confidence. A powered awning extends shade and shelter whenever you stop.
The main bed lifts to reveal a generous underbed garage sized for foldable kayaks, inflatable SUPs, and other bulky gear. An optional bike rack add-on is available. Side-door netting with a bug screen, semi-permanent rear blackout covers, and five removable window covers complete the thoughtful storage and comfort package.
